Baseline surveys and development of a Citizen Science Monitoring programme to aid Natural Flood Management solutions, including leaky dams and floodplain reconnection, increasing landscape resilience and safeguarding downstream communities.
A collaborative research project with CEH focussed on surveying and assessing the health of woodlands across the UK. Building on a long history of research undertaken by luminaries including the late Bob Bunce and Prof. Oliver Rackham.
Providing expert ornithological advice, including scoping, survey design, implementation, mitigation and an Environmental Statement chapter to inform a community owned wind turbine on the edge of the Severn Estuary.
EcIA and BNG assessments for the creation of a racehorse training loop, aiding the diversification of an existing farm business. More than 10% BNG was provided on-site and integrated into the owners long-term management goals.Â
Tree thinning/felling works, coppice restoration, deer fencing and supplementary planting to rejuvenate woodlands for biodiversity gain and restore a previously abandoned coppice rotation.
Preparation of a Woodland Management Plan, coppice restoration, Scheduled Ancient Monument advice, protected species surveys and establishment of ongoing ecological monitoring.
